In the fall of 2013, I was praying the rosary. While I was praying I saw Our Lady of Sorrows. She had seven different types of swords piercing her heart, which represented the seven sorrows she suffered throughout Jesus’ life. The swords also represented the seven deadly sins that we pierce Mary’s heart with daily. The Blessed Virgin Mary gently touches her painful throbbing heart with her right hand. Then holds up the rosary in her left hand. Sitting in her palm is Jesus crucified.
The rosary is a reflection of Jesus’ life through Mary’s eyes. Mary’s eyes are filled with tears of blood and sorrow. Momma Mary longs for her children (that is us) to pray the rosary. It is through the rosary that the mysteries of Jesus’ life are magnified. By praying the rosary we can heal the gushing wounds of both Mary’s and Jesus’ hearts.
